I’ve been commissioned to create an off-site project – taking the form of a touring guide to the mean streets of Nottingham – for the show Shifting Ground which opens tonight, and continues until 22 September at Angel Row Gallery. Also in Nottingham, Snowfall is showing at MOOT.

A project with [Insert Space] i’m one of four artists (the others being Marcus Coates, Blue Firth, Leo Fitzmaurice) commissioned to create new work for selected public houses in Digbeth, a long time industrial area and home to a great number of pubs of varying ages and styles, each with its own atmosphere and communities. Many are still managed by families that hold a wealth of local knowledge and stories. The plan is to create a ‘pub walk’ where CAMRA meets Pevsner…
