Tempus Mutatum
Susie MacMurray’s Tempus Mutatum (Time/change) has been made for the Edwardian
Bandstand in the grounds of Nottingham Castle. It can be viewed from outside the structure throughout the viewing period; access to the interior of the Bandstand will be possible on certain days and for pre-booked groups - see signage on site or call 0115 915 3655 for more details.
MacMurray’s series of related photograms will also be on display in the Castle’s South Hall. Lucy Stevens’ Walk With Me will take you on a binaural audio tour of the Castle grounds: a guided walk with a difference. The tour begins at the Gate House,where you can borrow an MP3 player for a small (refundable) deposit. Alternatively, you can come prepared by downloading the tour (from 6 April) at http://www.castlewalkwithme.blogspot.com/.
The commissions are on display from Friday 10 April - Sunday 7 June 2009. Open daily, 10am - 5pm
